Biography

Greg Ward is the Deputy Head of Global Product Management and the Investment Director for the Private Credit Team at Loomis, Sayles & Company. As Deputy Head of Global Product Management, he helps lead and execute several high priority cross-functional initiatives for the Product Management and Institutional Services Groups. Previously, Greg was the Investment Director for the Structured Finance Team.

Greg joined Loomis Sayles in 2013 and has 29 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining Loomis Sayles, he was a managing director at Massif Partners. Greg was previously chief financial officer at DoubleLine, where he was a founding partner.

Prior to DoubleLine, Greg was a senior vice president at TCW, responsible for establishing a private funds group within the firm’s broader fixed income group. Prior to this role, he was a member of TCW’s global private equity and real estate group where he had responsibility for the firm’s private equity and debt funds invested in the US and Latin America.

Greg earned a BA from the University of Colorado and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
