Biography

Justin Teman is Head of Institutional Advisory at Loomis, Sayles & Company. In this role, he leads discussions with clients on pension and insurance investment strategy and articulates how the firm can help them meet their objectives. Justin also helps to position the solution set, drive messaging, develop thought leadership and implement solutions for custom mandates such as liability benchmarks, overlays and cash flow matching strategies. In addition, he is chair of the Loomis Sayles Retirement Committee, which oversees the company’s defined benefit and defined contribution plans. Justin joined Loomis Sayles in 2019 from Cambridge Associates, where he was a Managing Director in the pension practice. As the firm wide expert on LDI, he helped clients in areas such as asset allocation, liability hedging, glide paths, risk transfers and completion management. Previously, Justin was an actuarial consultant at Mercer. He earned a BS in Business Administration, with a concentration in Applied Actuarial Mathematics, from Bryant University. Justin is a member of the Society of Actuaries and the American Academy of Actuaries. He is a CFAĀ® charterholder.
