Biography
Roger Ackerman is an Investment Director for the Alpha Strategies Group at Loomis, Sayles & Company. In this role, he supports the growth and retention of the firmās global multi-asset investment capabilities and systematic investing strategies. He is responsible for strategic product planning and development, internal constituent relations, and for conveying the teamās investment process, performance, positioning, and outlook with clients, consultants, and prospects. Roger joined Loomis Sayles in 2009 and has more than three decades of investment industry experience. Previously, he was a vice president at Fidelity Investments, where he managed a structured products platform. In that role, he delivered investment solutions to high-net-worth clients across Fidelityās family office, private wealth management, registered investment advisor, and correspondent broker-dealer channels. Earlier in his career, Roger was a director at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he was responsible for the sales and marketing of credit derivative products to financial institutions. Prior to that, he was a director within the credit derivatives group at Fleet Bank. Roger earned a BS from Syracuse University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
