Biography
Zach Borovik is a Portfolio Manager for the Small/SMID Equity Opportunities Team at Loomis, Sayles & Company, where he co-manages the Small Cap Value and Small/Mid Cap Core strategies. In addition to his portfolio management responsibilities, Zach maintains primary research coverage for several holdings within both strategies, with an emphasis on the technology and business services sectors. He joined Loomis Sayles as an Equity Analyst in 2016 after completing an internship with the team during his graduate studies. Zach was promoted to Senior Equity Analyst in 2022 and to Portfolio Manager in 2026. Previously, he was a medical equipment sales manager in Traverse City, Michigan. Zach received a BA from Michigan State University and an MBA from Indiana University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
